The book that is currently with me on my journey is the book Unlimited Power : The New Science Of Personal Achievement, by Tony Robbins.
This book is a dime piece when it comes to the self-development and personal acchivement categorie.
I think that we all learn certain lessons when we are ready for them. So I did with this book. I read it already a couple years back. The book seemed to contain only fluff and no specific actionable advise to me. However, years went by and my perception changed. Now I consider this book a must-read for anyone who is serious about getting results.
CHANGE IS POSSIBLE
This is probably the best way to describe what Tony Robbins wants us to show with this book. Change is possible. You can become exactly the person that you want to be.
All you need is the right mindset and strategies to accomplish your goals. Tony Robbins gives you the strategies and mindsets that he modeled by watching successful people and studying what made them who they are.
How do we accomplish what we want:
• We need Power
• Awereness of our thoughts and physiologie
• The right strategies
We need power. Power means nothing else then taking charge of your own life. Taking charge of your own actions and building your destiny yourself.
Power is the ability to take action.
You can influence and change what you do and feel by changing your thoughts and your physiologie. By redirecting your focus on something positive instead of something negative you can influence your destiny and take positive action instead of being overwhelmed by the circumstances. Use your physiologie in a way that commonicates confidence and certainty to your subconcious and you will feel exactly those emotions.
We need the right strategies to accomplish our goals. And the best way to get those strategies is to >model< the strategies from other people. Meaning we look at what people did that are already sucessful and take similar action as they.
Those are some of the lessons of Tony’s Book. I will write future articles about some other concepts of his book, as well as a complete book review.
Until then I HIGHLY recommend you to check out his complete book here!
